These terms and conditions apply to all bookings and services offered by MyWellnessTravels. By accessing, browsing, using, and/or completing a reservation through our website or associated platforms, you agree to be legally bound by the terms set out below. These terms may be updated periodically, and any changes will take effect immediately upon publication on the website.
1. The Marketplace
MyWellnessTravels is a marketplace which offers a wide range of wellness tours in Iceland.
2. Vendor/Partner Responsibility
Vendors, who advertise their products on the MyWellnessTravels platform are solely responsible for the products they offer, and MyWellnessTravels does not assume responsibility for the delivery or quality of services provided by vendors.
3. Contract With The Customer
No contract will come into existence until MyWellnessTravels has received full payment and issued a confirmation invoice. The customer making the booking accepts these conditions on behalf of all members of their travel party and is responsible for ensuring full payment.
Vendors reserve the right to adjust itineraries or schedules due to unforeseen circumstances, such as weather conditions. MyWellnessTravels is not liable for any costs arising from these modifications or cancellations but will communicate any changes to customers promptly.
4. Pricing and Charges
Currency
All prices are listed in Icelandic Krona (ISK) unless otherwise specified by the vendor. Customers are responsible for any transaction fees, such as bank transfer fees or credit card charges. Prices in other currencies are estimates and provided only as a guide.
Price Adjustments
Vendors reserve the right to adjust prices due to currency fluctuations, government taxes, or other external costs. Prices are generally guaranteed once a confirmation invoice is issued, except when price adjustments are due to changes in government taxes exceeding 5% of the original tour price.
5. Customer Responsibilities
Customers are responsible for providing accurate information, including contact details, and arriving on time at designated locations as specified in their booking confirmation. Vendors may refuse participation if customers are inadequately prepared or lack the necessary clothing and equipment.
6. Payment and Cancellation Policy
6.1. Payments for Day Tours
We will charge full payment for all day tours as soon as a booking is made. This payment is required in full and the booking will not be considered as complete until this payment has taken place.
6.2. Payments for Multi-Day Tours & Self-Drive Tours
Upon booking a 20% deposit is required to create the booking. The deposit is non-refundable. The remaining amount will be charged 60 days prior to the experience start date and the booking will not be considered as complete until this payment has taken place.
6.3. Cancellation of Day Tours
More than 24 hours notice: Customers are eligible for a full refund if a written cancellation request is received by MyWellnessTravels more than 24 hours before the scheduled departure.
Less than 24 hours notice: No refund is provided if a written cancellation request is received with less than 24 hours notice.
6.4. Cancellation of Multi-Day Tours & Self-Drive Tours
If a cancellation request is received by MyWellnessTravels prior to paying the full amount for the booking, the rest of the payment will not be charged. However, the 20% deposit is non-refundable as stated in section 6.1.
If a customer decides to cancel a booking after he has paid in full, he is eligible for a 50% refund according to the following schedule as long as a written notice is received my MyWellnessTravels at least 30 days prior to the tour start date.
No refund will be issued if a cancellation request is received less then 30 days prior to the tour start date.
7. Travel Insurance
Customers are strongly encouraged to purchase travel insurance covering cancellations and other unforeseen events. MyWellnessTravels is not liable for any losses due to customer cancellations.
8. Force Majeure
Vendors are responsible for managing and communicating any cancellations or modifications due to force majeure events, including weather, natural disasters, strikes, or other unforeseen conditions. MyWellnessTravels is not liable for damages, losses, or injuries resulting from these events but will coordinate with vendors to ensure customers are informed and tour plans are adjusted as necessary.
9. Sustainability and Environmental Responsibility
MyWellnessTravels is committed to promoting sustainable travel practices. We encourage both vendors and customers to follow eco-friendly practices and work only with vendors who align with our commitment to environmental responsibility.
10. Accessibility and Inclusivity
Vendors are encouraged to make their services accessible to all customers, including those with disabilities, wherever possible. Customers should inform MyWellnessTravels of any specific needs during booking, so vendors can make necessary accommodations.
11. Feedback and Dispute Resolution
MyWellnessTravels values customer feedback to continually improve vendor offerings on our platform. Any complaints regarding vendor services should be directed to MyWellnessTravels in writing within 5 days of tour completion. MyWellnessTravels will work to facilitate resolution with the vendor. Unresolved disputes between customers and vendors will be governed by Icelandic law and handled by the District Court of Reykjavík.
12. Intellectual Property and Usage Rights
All content on the MyWellnessTravels platform, including text, images, and media, is owned by MyWellnessTravels and protected by copyright. Unauthorized copying, distribution, or use of this material is prohibited.
13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These terms are governed by Icelandic law. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be settled by the District Court of Reykjavík. Customers acknowledge that MyWellnessTravels is not liable for vendor-provided services and functions solely as an intermediary for marketplace listings.

If you create an account with MyWellnessTravels, we will process the necessary personal information you choose to share with us to identify your account, such as: Nickname/profile name, contact information (e.g. email) and technical details (e.g. account creation date and time).
2. Purpose of Procession Collected Information
The functionality of MyWellnessTravels`s services depends on reading and analyzing certain user information
2.1 User Information is Processed for Purposes Including:
• Authenticating users upon login
• Connecting to third-party services or products. If you choose to log in using a third-party service (e.g. Google), we will receive data from the relevant provider, provided you have given consent for the integration.
• Communicating with you through various channels and informing you about our services.
3. Data Location and Sharing With Third Parties
To provide our service or manage daily operations, we may need to share certain personal data with our partners, such as your user data and usage data. For example, if you use a third-party platform to connect with us, we may share user and/or usage data as necessary to enable the technical connection and manage our business relationship with such a platform.

• Improving the service and fixing bugs that may arise during its use

5. Security
All our systems are designed to ensure the security of personal information. We emphasize that our partners software for processing personal data complies with the legal requirements for such data processing. We strive to store personal information only for as long as necessary based on the purpose for which the data was collected.
Prices may vary depending on the type of service, currency fluctuations, and/or the payment method used. Prices do not include data transfer costs or fees that your telecommunications service may charge under your agreement for such services.
6. Service Updates and Changes
MyWellnessTravels regularly updates its app to ensure its security and improve user experience.
MyWellnessTravels reserves the right to make changes to the technical requirements for using the service and to add, modify, or remove partners and payment methods at any time.
7. Privaciy Policy Duration and Changes
The Privacy Policy is issued by MyWellnessTravels ehf. and is effective as of January 13, 2024. Should there be any changes to our terms or regulations affecting the content of this policy, the terms will be updated. If significant changes occur, users will be notified via email with 30 days notice. By continuing to use MyWellnessTravels services after that time, the user accepts the changes to the terms.
